Cooking Cow Foot With A Slow Cooker | Tasty Cow Heels Recipe From South Africa

HOW TO COOK COW FOOT WITH A SLOW COOKER | EASY COW FOOT RECIPE | SOUTH AFRICAN COW HEELS // Having a slow cooker makes it easy to prepare your favorite dishes while you are at work or attending to meeting. We prepared our favorite COW HEELS or COW FOOT or COW FEET, still difficult to decide which word works better. It took around 8 - 9 hours to prepare the meal. We also added steamed dumpling (idombolo) just for serving (video to be uploaded soon)

We used to cook it with big pots on outside fire, we just kept on feeding the fire with wood as it takes long until its tender and soft. Glad your family loves it :)

It depends on how quick you want it to go. I normally leave it on low when I'm our for the whole day and high for 4 to 5 hours.
