COOKING CARIBBEAN FOOD FOR OUR LARGE FAMILY
My husband cooks Caribbean style stew chicken. He makes the best Caribbean style stew chicken. Coming from a West Indian background, with a Trinidadian father, I grew up on Caribbean food. So, it's definitely a pleasure that Sam enjoys cooking and eating Caribbean dishes as well. Check out Sam's Caribbean flavor. Sam loves the flavor of the islands, and accommodates our big multicultural family by making dishes we can all appreciate. One taste, and you'll be hooked on Caribbean food too. I hope you enjoy cooking with Sam. He's cooking Carribbean food for our large family. As always please give this video a thumbs up, comment, share, and don't forget to subscribe. Lots of love and blessings to you all! Thanks for your support, and being a part of our large blended interracial family.

Usually in Trinidad we blend all the seasoning together in the blender, then let the Chicken marinate for a day or so before actually use, but your stew chicken looks good none the less, you earn your Trini pass.

Sometimes chicken can smell a little rancid, lime or lemon gets rid of the smell, and really cleans the meat well.

In Jamaica we fry the chicken 1st and then cook it down. This video reminds me of my husband and I. I taught him how to make ackee and saltfish, curry chicken and a few other Caribbean dishes and it's such a joy how he embraces my culture. This was absolutely beautiful to watch. @@donjoseph9647 Nice to meet you. I grew up on West Indian foods because my dad is from Trinidad and he was the primary cook in the house. He cut the chicken up also. However, if it was small drumsticks like in this video, he mostly left it whole. We cut up the chicken sometimes too, but not the small drumsticks. Like you Don, I prefer fresh seasoning/vegetables over powder seasoning. Sam usually uses both though. When it comes to cooking, people have different preferences. However, I agree with you, as long as "the final result comes out great and taste the way you like..." That's what counts! We appreciate your input! Trini in de house!!
