    You captured the book well! I agree I really like Samin's personality. I would recommend her podcast "Home Cooking" over the netflix series for more of her personality.

    I took gourmet in high school and this book was part of the class, it was pretty cool.

    look there's genius in her book cause its simple ideals that are tried and true. fuck the netflix show, that is her being obligated to do food porn. i just made the best jalapeno jack grilled cheese that probably has ever occured. but all the things were there. cheese, butter, tomato soup and toasted in butter bread. these four things are fundamental to modern cooking. love yall keep cooking❤
