Billy is a genius....all the focus is on him...not the team. Qlders hate NSW ppl for many good reasons....back in the day, Qld might get 1 or 2 players selected in Australian team, and then SOO showed where the good players are

A few comments on the "hatred" thing. I'm a 69 year old dinosaur and I can tell you that pre-Origin we all hated being flogged by NSW for years with QLD players in their teams and then copping all the crap about how great they were. That's why people of my generation genuinely hate NSW. I'm proud to been in the "Pig Pen" at Lang Park when we won the first Origin game in 1982 (it;s still called Lang Park by the locals BTW. "Hate" brings up the issue of Paul Gallen. On the one hand he was hated for king-hitting Nate Myles TWICE and laughing about it. On the other hand we loved him because he was a shit player. Good luck with your bludging 20 minute Centre and your 20 minute Captain this time around. P.S. we all love the NSW selectors, especially for all the times they didn't pick Jimmy Maloney!

Love the podcast, buy James arguments against the 3rd SOO (dead rubber) shows he just doesn't get origin. Game 3 is never dead regardless of the previous 2 results. A lost series, game 3 becomes super important not to get whitewashed. And yes we hate Qlders just as much as they hate us.

18:15 NSW won 2014 because qld had Cronk Inglis JT Slater Smith Hodges MorganParker Thaiday all injured lol they came back the next year and won another 3 in a row 2014 was one of nsw weakest sides during that streak imo. You had many sides that ran fully strength prime QLD to the final minutes

James doesn't get Origin and why it is matter more for Qld. It is not because we hate NSW more, it is because QLD love playing for Qld more than NSW does. The stupid notion of 'hate' is why NSW lost the game because Suaalii went in with hate in the tackle and then got sin-binned. Queensland play for each others and for their state to do their state proud, to show how good the state is, not to for any hate. We love beating NSW but don't hate NSW. Big difference! In regards to the rating you asked for: It is getting better again now that James has stopped yawning as much as he did there for a while. I was about to stop listening to the podcast because it was getting obvious that James didn't want to be there and was under prepared. There is plenty of other rugby league content that you guys are competing with!
