Cook County's "Tails of Redemption" program gives inmates and dogs

Every year, thousands of dogs are euthanized in the Chicago area. Cook County Jail’s ‘Tails of Redemption’ program is doing their part to help pups get adopted by pairing the with prison inmates without a murder or rape charge. Brandon had a chat with Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart who told him all about it.
If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs, call 312-603-4242 or via email to cso.communications@cookcountyil.gov
