I think you have to get the new abs unit paired with ecu and all the modules in the car so they match i think its a safety thing against theft

I’ve been working with machines or machinery all my life, I’m 22 right now and the size of the toys I dismantle and put together has just kept getting bigger and led me here, I’ve always had keen interest in machinery, especially cars. All the experience I have is just by working on my own cars.

Interesting to come across this. I've done an awd conversion on my Skoda Octavia / Laura vRS 2.0 TSI. It's a manual but I used an Audi S3 8P and pump and gen5 Haldex from a Skoda Yeti.

Hey Prerak any video on Polo drum brake maintenance. I hardly find any good videos regarding them. I recently opened the rear drum for a cleaning and was shocked to see extreme grooves all over the drum material. The shoes were thin but still had enough material till the metal. Despite that there were groves on the shoes as well. Don't know if some sand or dust entered this spot but I doubt that. Hope I can skim the drum brakes while I replace the shoes. A video about shoe replacement would be helpful. My gt crossed a little over 1,10,000 and I have never changed the rear brake shoes. I also don't park in gear unless on some incline. So parking brake is always engaged. I'm pretty sure most polo owners have probably neglected the rear drum brakes as well.

Maybe the problem is with the instrument cluster as I think the can wire run from the instrument cluster through the abs module to the ecm.

Bro did u check trouble codes for why it didn't start because abs and traction control light were blinking after engine was stalled?

Polo’s chassis is just not built for this, you’ll need to cut half the bottom end in order to do that

It’s possible if you have the L&K door module and L&K exterior mirrors. For the case of Laura

Not in the case of laura, it’s chassis is made for AWD
