Converting CMMG 10rd mags to 25rds for AR15 22lr

I wouldn’t suggest doing this if you live in a restricted State.

BROO!!!! I wanted to thank you for this video, I purchased the kit with 3 10 round mags and I did this to mines and worked perfectly! I honestly think CMMG did that on purpose for people to easily take the pin out and convert these...

Thanks for the how-to! Here’s a quick tip for you. If you use the base of the round being loaded to depress the round beneath and then rotate the round up under and back of the feed lips, it’s much easier to load, especially as you get near the end.

I like your way of thinking about leaving the pin in there . I think that it rattling is the only way a average person will ever remember that it's in there. In another words if it doesn't rattle it will be forgotten and of no use . So let it rattle let in roll . Or take a very tight size drill bit & reinstall that pin in a visible but otherwise non consequential plastic area of the mag . So as to remember what it once was and can re become .

I shot over 20k rds of 22lr last year alone Bro. From several different platforms pistols to rifles. At $10 each the magazine it was a no brainer. This is a plinker & training gun. Malfunctions with any weapon makes great training drills. But I will say I do own a few of the Blackdog magazines with steel lips. So far my mags with plastic lips are still running good. I live in a restricted state, but I would like to buy magazines that can be converted so that in the event that the ban gets struck down, or I leave the state, I can convert them to standard capacity.
