Changing silencer always fucked up your crank so it's better to keep the orignal silencer which come from company .

My classic 350 is having same crank sound issue.. so i am thinking if it’s possible to convert 350cc to 500 as crank , cluch plates , oil pump, hydraulics will be replaced with new one. Please tell

Hello, been watching videos on ur bike. It has transitioned to be a brilliant looking bike. Just the perfect amount of mods. I would love to have it myself.

I visited jaipur last week for 2 days. Surprisingly, the friend I was meeting lives right next to Imli Phatak and nearby Wahid Bhai's workshop. The day I was leaving jaipur, I saw your engine being split at the workshop. Couldn't find you, so didn't stop by.

Anyways, even I'm working on a build project currently and am uploading the whole process to youtube. It's a 1984 bullet that I'm turning into a cafe racer. Hi Mantavya, i am thinking of doing this upgrade of my 500cc.It also had developed connecting rod noise. Reboring it to 535 and adding 535cc piston. How successful it is in long term? Did you face any issue after conversion? Do you recommend to do it or should i use 500cc bore piston kit from RE.

If re 500 can't go more then 27000kms and engine got busted, it means we should raise our voices to Royal Enfield team....its about product quality issue...or may be another reason that could be technicians are not taking this machine seriously..do u have efi in your bike or you have moved to carburettor ....

Hello sir Recently i am facing some engine sound issues in my classic 350 bs3. Firstly I enquired at RE authorised service centre about the issue they said after inspecting sound of bike that 90% its a issue of crank sound and after opening the engine they will confirm. And i have shown the same to a local mechanic and he also confirmed and told that service centre will replace the crank with new in addition fuel pump, hydraulics, cluch plates and some of other parts also leading to a expenditure of around 35-40 thousand or more. So i am thinking if these parts are to be replaced with new one already so is there any possibility that i can get my 350 cc converted to a 500 cc is it possible???

Hey .. Been a subscriber since few months and I have enjoyed most of the videos so far as I too have the same bike.. Quick question here.. I noticed that my bike have ran around 36k and stated giving out white smoke and drinking oil.. so planning to bore and put on a 535 piston.. I'm getting mixed openion regarding this as some say you cannot go on long rides after that , bike becomes delicate, can't push it to limits and so on.. So since you hav done it ,I just wanna know is it worth it?? Should I go ahead with it?? Is that a better option and safe as well??? Kindly give me you openion regarding this , as you I guess you might have put on few kms by now and can give me an actual perspective.. Thank you .. looking forward to hearing from you.. I've heard getting the piston bore is not successful in the classic 500 I too have same model as yours and mine was consuming engine oil so I had to change the piston as well as I got the crank fixed. A note for all C500 owners :- Always use the engine oil of the prescribed grade by RE and never use fully synthetic oil in your bike. I'd like to know Brother because I recently saw your ladakh ride as well. So did the bike give any issues? Curious to know. P.S. Following you for quite a long time now and I got to see your face in the ladakh trip 😂

@@Mantavya the plan was to replace the entire cylinder and head unit but not sure how successful the mod will be, I have been advised by mechanic to straight away buy a new 500 cc engine and replace it with the old one.

Amit Chauhan yes, just cylinder and head unit won't make a difference. a lot has to be changed, even the crank is diferent

@@raziitzme Well it's not a hassle free process will need lot of changes it's better to buy a used second hand engines easily available in Delhi plan to build it only if you wish to to enjoy the journey of customizing .

the pin which u were speaking about is called gudgeon pin. frankly speaking i drive RE but i m not satisfied with quality standards which we get in india and bs4 engine is little messed up .......but i must say the new interceptor engines are good.

Boring is not successful in UCE engines. I've had one myself. But eventually on long rides it'll start eating oil & you'll have to replace the whole cylinder kit.

depends on where you get it done from and what type of piston you use. use sam or original, it will all work out

@@Mantavya I am also using same oil and it's very good for city commuting and it is equivalent to motul 5100 but castrol comes with 2.5 litre pack instead of buying 3 pack of motul so castrol is convenient in using as well and i have been using this oil in my classic 350 and its life is 4500 to 5000 km easy

You can bt you will have to change a lot of stuffs and that's gonna cost you a bomb....starting from head bore, carb pump, magnet, wiring etc....equivalent of getting a new engine

Bhai pls make a video on Bullet bike disk locks/ theft security also. I live in Jaipur Mansarovar and my Bullet classic 350 (DL-11-SF-8885) ws stolen by thieves on 3June in broad daylight from outside my house. When i reached Police for FIR, they told me in last couple of weeks there are other Bike missing/steal cases in same area of mansarovar region out of which 2-3 are bullets. Friends we spend a lot in customisation and mods of our bullet bt we underestimate somewhere its security measures. So guys pls take effective measures for Bike lock and security also. 🙏🏻

Low maintenance and abuse of motorcycle is the reason of white smoke . My Royal Enfield classic 350 2012 model completed 50000 with meter repeat 26000 Total 76000 with clean engine sound .

Don't forget to get the 535 engine plate!!!!!

Same problem is in my bike as well same classic chrome it has done only 6k km workshop guys say that it is a normal sound which a re engine produce.. they say that the taped always create this noise

Hello Sir! How are you and everyone at your home? I hope everyone is fine! I just want to clear one thing! The Original Pistons of Royal Enfield are manufactured by the company IPL (Indian Pistons Limited)! You can check, it was also written on your 535cc piston and it's rings. SAM is also making pistons for Royal Enfield and many more brands but as a alternative option and that pistons are not genuine and are of low quality as compared to IPL and other brand pistons like USHA, MAHLE, etc. They are popular for getting seized easily if you rev your bike hard for the first 1000kms! I have tried SAM Piston for my Electra 350 UCE which was 0.20 over sized and it was running good but I used that because at my time IPL Piston was out of stock. I took so much care for the first 1000kms and after that it was fine but there is a risk with SAM Piston for first 1000kms. My suggestion is to go with the original vendor i.e., IPL for Royal Enfield Bikes. Thank You! Take Care! Vaibhav Dogra (+918859070592)

you should not have changed the bore size locally. infact if u were going 535 piston u should have gone for whole kit including original enlarged bore

But idk I feel company se aisa kaam karvaana sahi rehta,coz they know their bike better n also comes with warranty

Yes bro ... the cylinder head remains the same ... you just need the same 500 gasket ..and the cylinder rebored to 535... only need to buy 535cc piston and rings ...

Major engine problem at 25k kms. Tells you a lot about Royal Enfield's "quality". I wonder why ppl bother buying this crap.
