Very good video. Very informative and all clear and well shown with camera. Also nice to see all the process from start to betaflight setup and test. Only test in the air is what I am missing here. Other than this great job!

Great work man! And very informative. I was thinking the USB C port could face rearward for easier access. But it looks like the wires against the ducts are preventing that...New sub here. Glad I came across your channel.

Wow, this is above my pay grade, but i think for those who are, this is a wonderful video. For the possible newbie interested in sub250 cine drones, what would troncat think about dji or autel not having fpv capability built in their mini or nano plus drones? Seems like a minor adaptation for those proficient enough. Or am i missing something?

You can't with DJI. But if your analog goggles have a HDMI "in" port, the HDzero and Walksnail digital systems will work with them if the screen resolution is high enough. You can also connect their receivers to a laptop, big screen TV or home theater projector.

Or just build your own from scratch instead of getting BNF’s. I would 1000% much rather buy a frame and all the individual parts, because bnfs aren’t the greatest, don’t get me wrong they are great for starting out but they aren’t what they could be. If you know or “learn your stuff or all the stuff that is out there” you can build some amazing things. For example I have a freestyle quad that I built. And I clocked it at 133mph. That is insane especially for a freestyle quad that weighs 820 grams 😂 with the gopro on it. You can make them as tuff as you want as fast as you want as light as you want, the realm of endless possibilities with fpv is amazing... I personally have no desire to buy a analog rig never wanted to, even when I started out I actually waited to get into the hobby for digital because I hated the static, snow, & the lines it renders you to the point where your unable to see and in the end you spend twice as much because your crashing twice as hard twice as much all because your sending a bird into the sky at rocket speeds yet practically blind folded I’m honestly surprised analog isn’t banned, with all the rules and regulations going on towards our hobby with the faa I’m surprised they weren’t like well analog is out of the equation for good it’s to dangerous because of the lack of being in control because of the lack of vision lol wouldn’t that be some shit 😂 I personally would love that simply because analog pilots have a beef with us digital guys lol man that would be the day... digital is the future weather if it’s HdZero, sharkbyte, or dji

@@devilcfpv2621 I do agree but not many people are good at soldering so it tends to be intimidating. Especially since if you get it wrong you fry your electronics. it's always good to have something ready made to ensure you are flying while you are building out your personal quad.

@@GregSupe I mean you could look at it that way or you could say to your self you know what I can do this and try it out, soldering seriously is very easy it may seem intimidating but I assure you it is your own mental self doubt that is holding you back.... if you really are that worried then what you do is you get a broken board or order a practice board and you start practicing I think all in all the hardest thing for me to learn the techniques on was the power leads, those took me longer to learn for sure. Flux is your friend you need to make sure you have a temperature controllable soldering iron and 63/37 Rosin core is the best, practice and learning the technique is key I have helped a dozens people in the last year in showing them there first steps in how to build their first quads from scratch and if they can do it you can do it just believe in yourself I no you can do it

Digital just needs onboard mics too !!!!!!!! WTF !!!!!! not like we are in the 80s ,, Mabey the latency is why with digital ??????

  • @TRONCATFPV

best way I can describe it is rx=receive & tx=transmit The way that both components communicate with eachother is through the RX and TX pins, so the transmitted signal (TX) will always be received by an RX pin.

@@kryptedcode Unless you have dji goggles or shark byte then you will be looking for analogue type cams. You will need goggles capable of onboard recording... or.. If you want to record high definition video on the plane or quad itself you will have to go with an expensive DVR type camera such as the Tarsier, turtle or split etc My knowledge on analogue isn't up to date though so others will be better positioned to inform you of your best options. My be worth supplying a bit more info though such as your budget, what goggles you have, what quad or plane you have etc etc. Have a look at Oscar Liangs web page, it provides a lot of information about everything fpv and is especially helpful for beginners.
