Now in Chennai, CMWSSB has started and run the 45MLD TTRO (teritory treatment reverse osmosis system) plant for industrial purposes. There are 6 RGF 7 UF and 4 RO filter with ozonation systems. Its drinkable water. But we use for industries only. Water supplies to pumping station Oragadam, Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur, pillaipakkam, Vallamvadagal. The main plant is in Koyambedu oppos to market. All remote pumping station can monitor through Koyambedu main plant. We make it possible ✌️✌️ chill bro✌️✌️

Focus solar heat energy at particular point and produce steam using Archimedes spiral pipes heat is transferred or can be reused to other purpose. The final output will be pure water then after adding specific amount minerals it's suitable for drinking. It's worked at small scale of my school project but in large scale with compact well engineered design it can work all day.

But effective solar reflector need like advanced solar mining equipment used by space rovers to seperate minerals in lunar and Martian soil for onboard analysis of samples. Through this peace in our time can be achieved.

There is a easy way to make the water to steam, boiling point of he water is reduced based on the atmosphere pressure. Hence in vacuum, water becomes steam in near 30 to 40 degree. With this method, desalination plant was installed in karunya university. Not sure about the current stage of that research. Please check and update if possible

Not 30 to 40 degree bro at 60 degree above not more than 65 degree but in vaccum level of 650mmhg it's a closed system called evaporator it's used in industrials to reduce high concentration water discharge. the waste will be collected as salt it's a expensive process and that plant operator need to follow that plant closely I am working on that plant above 10 years any doubt you can reach me.

Many private companies are having their plant already as you asked about south india. But in tamilnadu we have two plants, one is constructed by government but unfortunately it is given to third party due to change of government the water fully utilized only for private purposes. Our people not getting benefit on that. There are many calculations there, regarding how much water it can produce how much cost it will be.. For our understanding simple calculation we can make, our home RO System can make 20-30 lrs per day by consuming 3-4 units of current, which cost will be 14-15k RO (price+ current) excluding maintenance.

And No 1 dispose turbine condensed water to sea. Please don't miss lead the peoples without knowing the Thermal Power Generation. What you have studied in your school book that has not been exactly happening in practical industries.
