My God her English was amazing!!! I mean, I know She was American, but the way she spoke and pronounced the words so clearly is really remarkable. Her diction was fantastic, perfect!!! What a voice, what a correct and clear pronunciation she had, what a love she manifested in her words and gestures... We all really miss having her around. Don't we?

Louise totally changed my life when I was 17 (I’m 33 now) when I stumbled across her book. I wasn’t doing very well at the time and she was the loving light I needed. I have ever since been carrying her message around with me and I cannot imagine my life without her in it. How she managed to pull herself out of the dark with no one like her to guide her I don’t know! She was .... well... I have no words that can describe her. Sending love to her and all of you xxx

Hi Rebecca! I just read your comment and it struck me because I am the same age as you and I've only just discovered Louise and her guidance. I've been struggling with many issues my whole life - and to imagine what it could have been like to be able to open yourself and receive such help at the young age of 17, wow.... I'm impressed and I feel inspired by your comment that life can really get better. I'm going through a particularly tough time now (on top of the pandemic) but I'm willing to give it all I've got to change my life and let go of all wrong patterns! This is the time. I hope you don't mind me replying directly to you - it just felt like the thing to do :) Love to you, Rebecca, wherever you are! xx Joanna

0:30 Love yourself. That's the answer to almost everything 0:41 We're 100% responsible for what happens in our lives 0:46 We create our experiences by our thinking/feeling patterns 0:58 When we think or speak, it goes out from us and comes back to us 1:23 We react to experiences through our formed mindsets 1:50 We're often still operating under childhood mindsets 2:09 We're victims of victims (your parents themselves may have been victims) 2:53 Love, appreciate, and acknowledge who you are, then little miracles happen 3:20 If we don't love ourselves, we put up barriers to good 4:30 Be open and receptive to new ideas. I'm willing to change and grow 4:55 Do affirmations and talk to yourself in the mirror 5:10 "I love you. What can I do for you today to make you happy?" 5:58 Babies are open, full of love, express themselves, & ask for what they want, because no one has taught them guilt or shame 6:26 Somewhere along the line we get the idea that we're not good enough 7:18 Our uniqueness is what makes us wonderful. Don't compete or compare 8:33 Don't fight the negative (don't focus on what you don't want) 8:50 Focus on what you DO want. It's like planting seeds 9:33 Give affirmations a chance to grow (be patient) 10:08 Everything happens at the perfect (right) time. Trust and know that 10:21 Make positive statements in the present tense: "I have," not "I will have" 11:09 Release your current situations with love 12:12 Learn to say no 13:00 You have CHOICE of whether or not to change 14:40 We aren't here to change others. We're here to change ourselves 16:20 Forgive yourself. Let the loving, accepting energy flow 16:29 If you've made a tremendous goof, take it as a learning experience 18:40 Relax yourself and release tension 21:55 We can make light of burdens. Think of them as experience 24:44 It's not about how much you have. It's about how you feel 25:54 Trust that everything we need will be there for us 26:10 Know it, trust it, acknowledge it 26:45 How can you be lonely when there are billions of people on earth? 29:20 Nourish yourself too, instead of just giving to others all the time 30:46 Guilt seeks punishment, and punishment creates pain 32:16 Don't be a "yes, but" person (making excuses) 33:33 Don't make huge deals out of things (overreacting) 35:35 If you're bothered by things, give it permission and you won't be bothered 35:50 Stop thinking "I'm not good enough" 48:24 "When I was a kid, this is what I was taught, but I'm not a child anymore" 49:08 You don't have to have the same concepts your parents had 49:20 You can create your own lifestyle and belief system 49:50 Choose not to live in old limitations. Don't live in worry. Trust the Universe 50:24 We are one with the power that created us 50:28 We are open and receptive to the abundant flow of good All our needs and desires are met before we even ask Good comes from everywhere and everyone, and all is well in our world

@@beatleme2 This is not a counterpoint to the statement, which is about being unable to teach others how to love themselves if you don't love yourself first. A parent can do wonderful things, can learn to be different from their own parents and whatnot, but if he or she doesn't love him/herself, that WILL, without fail, be conveyed to his/her child. Without fail. Good thing is they can learn to love themselves and convey that as well :)

When I was introduced to Louse Hay it was a wonderful moment. She has helped me and continues to help me throughout my life changes. I am getting to know myself as I get older and think what a good person I am. Just sometimes I need to be reminded to appreciate how far I have come and that there is so much more to me than there once was. I love myself and am safe.

I don’t know about the rest but I can attest to headaches and earaches. I constantly feel like Im not good enough and as a child I had earaches all the time and I was born into a family that was often angry with each other and myself. I never realized how much I didn’t want to hear it, but I sure didn’t. Thanks Louise
