Exactly, IVF patients have different situations, different root causes. So the same approach for everybody can not be optimal.

@@lilithssilvermoon3208 i can immagine. I have no practical ivf experience, but studied a lot and also see that many (most?) clinics function as a factory. Because they can always blame it on nature. :(

Same as PGS… now the clinic recommends to everybody. Even with a chance to damage the embryo

There is no way to prove the assumption, unfortunately: you can not use the same embrio in the lab AND in the uterus.

I have a question. I’m 30 years old. I’ve had 2 healthy pregnancy’s and have two children. My husband had a vasectomy 8 years ago so we decided to go through ivf and icsi. Sperm was retrieved by pesa. 14 eggs collected, 5 fertilised. Only one poor quality blastocyst on day 5 to transfer (failed) bled 6 days after transfer. The other 4 were still developing on day 5 but only one made an early blastocyst but wasn’t good enough for freezing. Sperm issue? Would a day 3 transfer have been better?

Please excuse my lamen way of expressing this but ... I instinctually just feel at my age 41 (mostly male issue fertility) that in my current situation with my current stimulation cycle where I don't have any previous blasts yet. Fertilization has thus far gone very well but last round all 4 fertilized looked good on day 3 but apparently started degrading afterwards. This cycle i lost some follicles on my right and now have a 17 and 16 on the left. My gut just tells me to stick our little blobs in my body and that my body may be a less to do some magic the laboratory cannot. I hope my doc would be ok with this, doing a fresh transfer with both on day 3 and also hope I'm not completely off base with my thoughts but this video sure helps me understand that my instincts may have some validity!
