It's pretty new so I haven't gotten to do a lot of research on it, but I would suggest taking a look at the Squier Debut Series. I hear good things about it and it's at a really good price

I've been liking the 9s alot lately. Found a set of flats in 9s that I'm looking forward to trying.

When I started playing guitar I used strings with very light tension (8-38). But after some time I switch back to 10-46 because I start to explore low tunings and string with higher tension sounds better in my opinion. So... Just try different variants and choose what you think is better.

@@jebhank1620 10s have higher tension than 8s strings. And this helps to reduce "wobbling" on low tuning. I.e. 8s already sound "uncertain" on Drop C and 10s - on Drop A. Sustain is also better on thicker strings.

Il problema non si presenta se decidi di usare la giusta chitarra con il giusto set di corde e settaggio. Dipende da quanta esperienza hai, ed è quella che fa superare gli scogli e fa maturare! Il problema semmai è trovare la chitarra fata a regola d'arte, è quello che ti aiuta a maturare davvero ed arrivare a determinati traguardi!

普段は11側プレーン弦と10側の巻き弦を組み合わせて使ってます。ハムバッカーだと巻き弦がブーミーになる為です。 が、こだわってた俺が間違いなのかも……弦選ぶレベルには達してなかったのかも………

10s for me. It is what the player is comfortable with.

For standard tuning on a six string I can't hear a difference in the tone what much between those strings especially with distortion so I think people should just use what is comfortable for them in standard tuning and then for better tuning stability and less floppy strings for tuning down then use heavier gauge strings.

@@bagazheful I like Light Top/Heavy Bottom string with my 8 string. On my telecaster I like using regular 10s for E standard. On my two Jazz guitars sometimes I like having medium gauge Chromes/Flat Wound strings and Jazz doesn't have huge bends in it so its fine and I like the slightly thicker tone. I do have sensitive and still good ears so I can hear the slight difference from different strings, but some can't.
