Parents who are overly controlling will just cause their kids to rebel when they get the chance. Keep your kids safe and relatively focused, but still let them have fun, make small mistakes, and be kids. No one wants to be controlled completely. It’ll make them feel like their life isn’t really theirs. It will lead to isolation, burnout, and resentment toward their parents. Help your kids along the way, push them in the right direction, but don’t control everything about them

I think the dad had a point but was overprotective. The way that they were arguing though was dumb. Both of them had valid points. But he should’ve been more understanding of his kid.

Great story. Parents can be controlling at times, but they can't control you forever. When you've come to a certain time or age, parents need to let their kids lead their own lives, but that's not to say that no matter how old you are, you'll always need your parents. They may not always agree with your decisions and choices, but sometimes, they learn to respect them. Great story and love the quote - Not everything that glitters turns out to be gold".

Story idea: A girl whose name was Annie, she is 15. She was born with a prefect and sharp memory which helped her to develop excellent detective skills, some people even call her the modern Sherlock Holmes. Her parents were a bit concerned about her ability but they were still very proud of Annie. One day, the police have gotten a report about three children going missing in three days. Annie volunteered to help solve the mystery, but the police laughed at Annie because she's a kid but let her join them and Annie proved them wrong and solved the mystery. It turned out that the mayor's wife wanted to be a mother but never could but she really wanted children, so told her husband to kidnap the three children for her and hid them in their basement. They were sentenced to life time imprisonment, while Annie joined the police force and was awarded a medal for the youngest ace detective to the police and helped them solve more mysteries

Moral of the story, constantly control your kids and restrict them from doing anything, because if you don't they're gonna ruin their lives and if they get into some hard shit it is their fault and you should be harder on them and totally not because you're so unbearable that they want to escape

A parent's love is shown differently depending on the circumstances. It was displayed in this video. No matter what the child does or doesn't do, at the end of the day, your still the parent. As a parent of 5, I love each one unconditionally. Letting them make decisions on their own. Be there if they fall and encourage them. Be there when they accomplish things and let them know you are proud of them. Thanks for the video.

Its OK to be lame to focus on your goals. Girls, drinking, getting designers and upgrading your lifestyle will all come later. Right now 18-48 are your best years as a Guy. Don't mess up your life involved with a bunch of distractions and wrong people. Stack your bread. Focus. And don't let nobody take you off your game.
