I have 3 big chest freezers. 2 at 16 to 17 cubic foot, and a 21 or so cubic foot you could have fit OJ Simpson in according to the sales lady 29 years ago. I'm a taxidermist so I have all sorts of stuff of my own, as well as customers stuff. My stuff is like dead animal hoarding. I recently thawed out and tanned a small possum that has 2004 on the bag. I had to inject the toes with water to rehydrate them. I have stuff even older in them. A large amount of mountable foxes, most taken by myself, raccoons, same deal, my first beaver pelt, tanned for a mount, a mink from 2000, tanned, spare deer capes, a roan antelope cape from Africa, ground hogs, Fisher hides, deer and sheep legs, fetal beavers, ranch fox pups that died from whatever, a freezer burned small monkey, parrots, ducks customers gave me to mount for display, and I dont know what else, but it's like in the hundreds. Not to mention the dozens of tanned red foxes that are dry finished tanned that are hanging up everywhere, both mountable and for garment making. Trapping made me the worst dead animal hoarder!
