Thanks for this video Will. I paused, rewound, peered at your screen and got Sonos working in Home Assistant. Keep up the good work! I could not find my speakers in the search and had to add them by IP address as you suggested. Thanks again!

Thanks for another great vlog! One observation... although you content is well scripted, you tend to rush through the content. You would gain more traction with a wider audience were you to slow down your delivery. Keep up the good work!!

Great video, thank you Will !! I'm new to Node Red and try to play a local MP3 (in HA Media folder) on my Sonos Speakers. But there is no Instruction how to access local files and play them on Sonos. I managed to play "Online mp3s" over , but I have no idea what is different with the local HA files? Do you know this ?

Version 5.1 of node-red-contrib-sonos-plus is now available. The player discovery should now also work inside Home Assistant Node-RED and there is a new command group.play.mysonos in Universal node. With that you do NOT anymore need 2 commands mysonos.export.item and group.play.export. Thanks for making me aware of the bug / hint to improve.

sorry, but this is as clear as mud, rushed through, lots of 'obviously' but very little direction. Do I, for example, set up a universal node for each sonos player in my system. I do appreciate your attempt to help but really a simple step by step using one player would have done it.

Nah I disagree, it’s a perfect pace Will!! Keep it up! Far too many people speak too much and fill there videos with fluff! People can go back and rewind on info if they need 😇

Giving more detail at a slightly slower pace is not fluff, things I already have some grasp of I run at 1.25% speed, things I have never seen or done before I don't mind more detail. I have never seen or known about this add-on and could have used a few more screens I believe, I'll soon find out as I am installing it right now. Thanks Will! Just spent 2 days trying to control a sonos speaker volume from Node-red with nothing found to help on the web, fingers crossed..
