Dr. Anna Lembke's insights and your follow up questions Doug, are brillant and very helpful. This interview confirms to me that overall, the real solutions comes from the mouth of the knowledgeable and certified experts, specially in a world that every loud mouth thinks they are an expert and can quickly scream conspiracy theories! Also, many times an "influencer" will learn about something, take belonging of it and teach and monetize it, all in the wrong way, giving only part of the information. Worst, someone will intentionally use only part of the truth and feed their audience the wrong information. To me, Dr. Lembke is an authority on the subject: what she says is complete & gold and the real solution to our dopamine addicted world. The science will surely develop with time, but what she says in this interview is the closest to the widest truth available at the moment, so helpful, clear and solution packed. One other thing I would like to point out Doug is regarding the editing of the video. What I am about to say is informed as I have some knowledge about this as I am a TV producer , and to avoid any misinterpretation, all the following comments does not remove any value to your content, are humbly said and only here to help. I am guessing that you are using a software/ app that removes dead time (ahhh, ummm, silence etc). It is a common feature used on social media and an often used technique used to keep your audience's attention. I believe it comes at a heavy cost: the natural flow is truncated (lots of jump cuts). And on top of that, and this is my uninformed guess, but as a cut always brings novelty, in a sense, it seems to increase the dopamine every time there is a cut, which overall not what you want, specially considering the content of the video and Dr. Lembke's warning about over stimulating dopamine release... And to Dr. Lembke's point, we live in a world that is super fast and we need to slow down... "ahh, ummm, silence", etc are part of how we talk... and it also gives us space to think, to digest what the person has just said. Hope my comments help!

I have been noticing the link between impulsivity and scrolling on social media. These two when paired can be very difficult.

You have to do it. Set a time limit that you will not use it. The only way to change is to do it.
