Hello and welcome and thank you so much for subscribing!
Well now I have to get a new box of these guys for a refresh. Good job man.
Thanks for sharing bro. I really enjoy watching your process and see Ing the end results. One of my favorite paint channels on KZread. Cheers!
Definitely cool. A great way to have a painting tutorial and also an idea on how to use the colours. I like the fact you did not use washes, just contrast but also added layaring. In addition, the cost of palette of colours you choose doesn´t reach 100$ and whit this palette you can definitely paint all the templars. Great video, thank you so much!
Marvellous!

Thank you so much Dave! They're such fantastic models, I had a blast painting them and I'm sure you will too.
Oh how fitting, I was just watching some black templar videos! Thank for for the amazing work, especially on that banner. I love this character and of course got him...but he is a but intimidating to paint for me. Oh, if I may ask would you use the same shyish purple + Black Templar combo for things such as redemptor Dreadnoughts and outrider squads?

Thank you for watching First Name! You could absolutely use this scheme on those things, I'd probably use the glazing technique I've shown in a couple of the big model videos now to help ensure you get a nice smooth finish too.
I highly recommend anyone interested in this guy to read Helsreach by Aaron Dembski Bowden. It's an excellent book. Even more so, I recommend you listen to the Audiobook version. Jonathan Keeble absolutely knocks it out of the park. "I have dug my grave in this place, and I will triumph or I will die!"
In more recent videos you've based coated Ultramarine Blue contrast before using Black Templar but this video (plus Castellan and Black Templar Intercessor) you went with Shyish Purple. Could I ask why and which effect you prefer?

Each has it's benefit! I kind of go with the vibe of the model in the box art. Blue for clean black, Purple for a slightly more sinister tone. I usually look at what highlights GW has given their black details to try and figure out what tone to use.
So my question is… what is the benifit of using thinned contrast paints to using shade paints… genuinely curious
These look amazing! Have you picked up da red gobbo and bounca yet?

What? Why? Just why? They're my favorite of the Imperium Marines. I want to collect each and every mini they have. I'm going to paint them all grim dark as well. Although clean paint jobs look good, they just don't feel very realistic in the world of 40k imo. In a world of constant war where everything is effed up, bright colors just don't really make much sense to me. lol
