In fireteam, when you have a bigger enemy, you need to use your right/left bumper specials.

Hey guys! Just caught up to the parts i missed near the beginning and regarding the giveaways, i also wanted to thank you once again. I was one of the two lucky people that got Genotype during a stream two weeks ago, which was one of the games i was most excited about and planned to purchase eventually. I'm fairly new to vr and have a rather small library at the moment, so winning a giveaway allowed both me and my dad to have an incredible experience that we couldn't afford at the moment otherwise. I'm sure a lot of others are at the same place as well, and i'm super thankful that you guys are taking these incentives with the devs and look out so much for this community. Just wanted to let you know that despite reaching out only through one platform that i was more comfortable using, this was something that i still think about and that has made me more happy than you could imagine, so i suspect platform familiarity must be a big factor for a lot of other people as well. Fireteam's Destroyer class smartgun will autofire at enemies. You just hold trigger and move the reticle on them. It'll only fire when there's a living enemy. Nice way to save ammo.

As someone who beat Fireteam in VR, I went through all of the same confusion in the beginning. I stayed in my headset to view friend invites. View desktop then alt-tab to it. I use a virtual keyboard so I don't have to search for a real one.

If the PSVR headset could somehow utilise Dynamic Foveated Rendering to help mid-range/more affordable PCs maximise their frame rate and fidelity, then that would be a literal game changer. I may even be tempted to try the PC scene myself. 😊 Oh, and if it could also make it a better running experience for cloud VR to enter the chat, then wow!

@flat2vr should be in talks with @Madfingergames. It would be a dream if someone could get the upcoming Grey Zone Warfare running smoothly in VR. They are announcing their early access release date tomorrow and it runs off UE5.

PCVR is only growing now so to get rid of the Rift store would be cutting themselves off from more money for no reason. Tech gets smaller and does more all the time. The advances in chip design I've seen coming is mind boggling. 10 years from now my Quest 2 is going to seem like I had a microwave oven strapped to my face.

As much as corporations want everything to be served from servers customers are becoming less interested and less enamored with significant parts of their recreational lives being for rent ONLY. To me, it feels like there’s a reckoning coming. Xbox Game Pass was a fail, Ubisoft/EA/Stadia/ Amazon cloud GS etc. game services clouds have been a fail with customers really on the principle of what it means to ownership not even really touching on month to month value discussion.

Thank goodness for uevr injector. I have a 4080 super rig but I'm terrible at trying to use mods. So I never do them. For me mods need to work with one click. I know I'm missing alot of great mods but I don't feel as bad having so many games on the injector. I just bought at a discount aliens fireteam, hogwarts legacy gotham knights and robocop. Hard to go back to regular vr.

Start uevr injector, start game, get to title screen, alt-tab to injector, choose game in drop-down (it'll be the only option you see), click inject. If you want to change mod options, click both analog sticks.

Time is pretty irrelevant to me. I just try to catch live shows if I can but mostly have to accept I have to watch replays more often than not.

Absolutely love Contractors Showdown! Just need to find a good crew to play with. Luckily, so far, 90% of randoms have been chill. Anyone who likes VR shooters should pick this one up. $20 is a great price for it

Contractors showdown is pretty poor. The Alien Isolation mod on pcvr was incredible.
