I love it!! Seriously, you work exactly how I do. I often second guess myself and feel like I don’t meet the “industry standard” in efficiency but your videos offer validation. Your finish cuts are great!

Thanks for the comment! My mindset has changed over 15 years of climbing. I always honour my trade & skills. We had three trees that day with similar tree surgery objectives. The video was the first tree. You should start posting up some tree climbing content....

Hey mate, I really like that combination of the teufelberger ring loop/sling combo for an integrated tag/rigging line. Sure looks like it would save a lot of tying and managing of a second rope. Also, I got the tree ID before you mentioned it, haha. Climb safe

@@333Paradigm333 Cheers bro! Teufelberger make some quality tree gear. I find tag lines can make things less efficient, but building it in to the system helps the flow on the right tree surgery missions. Good work on the tree identification!

@@ArcaneArborWolfe absolutely, I've got lots of teufelberger gear. Xstatic is the best for SRT, wish it was able to be spliced though

@@333Paradigm333 I Love my Xstatic line. I was contract climbing last year and the ground guy / business owner cut through my medium 40m rigging line, in return he gave me his new 60m Xstatic line. It was a good day haha!

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. Great demonstration an explanation of the tag line set up using the same rigging line. Also seriously your pruning cuts are the best I have ever seen. Thanks.

Like how you use the silky for that last little part of the collar and pruning cuts. I may start that I think.

Thank you! Rig / tag is a dope setup. I do not get the opportunity to use it a lot, but it does work great on the right tree and tree surgery job.
