Many pharmaceuticals depend on biological processes for production which limits the ability to produce them. These batch processes are susceptible to losses as well, increasing the cost further. IIT Delhi has developed innovative manufacturing practices using a multitude of concepts to overcome these limitations, another step in strengthening India's position as the 'Global Pharmacy.'
