Der Continental Bulldog soll an einen englischen Bulldog erinnern und er tut es auch. Er macht es aber im besten Sinne; denn dem Continental Bulldog fehlen die äußeren Merkmale des heutigen Bulldogs, die jedem Tierfreund ein Schaudern den Rücken herunterlaufen lassen. Er ist ein Bulldog ohne Erscheinungen von Qualzucht. Dem Continental Bulldog fehlen die extremen Falten am Kopf, dafür hat er eine deutliche, nicht zu kurze Schnauze. Er hat einen Körper, der nicht so extrem massig und zudem mit kurzen, extrem gestellten Beinen daherkommt.

Continental bulldogs are very new. It's basically a cross breed between a English Bulldog and a old English Bulldog. To basically revert a few of the health issues that modern bulldogs have. For example, continental bulldogs have a full snout. They don't have issues breathing and they also don't have overbite. It's a Swiss breed and only around since.. 10 to 20 years I belive

@@w0251605 Can you say something more? I heard english bulldogs are very stubborn and don't like to learn. Contis aren't the same?

@@barrakuda5555 Hello, I have a Conti for 2 months, so I can say something ;). 4 months is bit hard time for dog, but if it comes to learn, my Jax learns VERY fast! I use a clicker for new commands, and then just reapeating them without it. Sit, come back, put down, stay, leave it, on site and give me a paw, thats what I teached him and basically it takes 1-2 sessions to remember. So they learn quick, on the other hand they are still bulldogs so my is stubborn in a funny way, if he does not want to go walk (sic!) he fakes sleep, goes under the table :D or if he doesn't walk somewhere he jest sits. Well If You want to teach a Conti commands, he gets them fast, no problem. But it's a bulldog not a malliois, keep sessions short. But You can alway pick a more active puppy (we chose the laziest one :D:D:D).
