The length of your videos is just fine. The problem is that some of your viewers have a small attention span.

Totally agree! There's nothing wrong with a video that is comprehensive and runs longer than a short. What the heck is wrong with people? It's not like you *have* to watch the whole thing if you don't want to.

Very cool mode to actually communicate with. FT8 is great for some quick and easy weak signal work but so boring with just grid and signal reports. This is a great mode for actually communicating like humans. Eric, thanks for showing another operating mode. I've learned so much from your videos over the years!

The fist bumping modes (aka FT8, JS8 call etc) are fun, but glad to see you encouraging the more conversational modes. I miss the constant activity and watching several conversations at once of PSK. We need to keep more interaction.

Another good video. Going to have to find your video again on setting up the IC-7300 to be used with DM570 and get back on digital modes (except FT8).

I like seeing videos about the other digital modes. I hope they will start coming back because FT8 to me is kind of dull. It's good for seeing if I'm getting out, but no conversation.

Eric, this is just a suggestion, and since there are probably some new digital operators that want to try something other than FT8, put the freq's where these modes are usually at in your videos so it makes it easier for them. If my comments are overstepping boundaries let me know. 73

Oh boy.. he's gonna crap on FT8 again. All of the digital modes are fun and have something to offer. I'd actually much rather, most times, to use FT8/FT4. That is why there is more than one mode and more than one way to enjoy radio.

Spot on! When I'm not in the mood for a chat, I run FT8. Sometimes I just want to test propagation, antenna's, transformers, whatever and don't want a ragchew. FT8 is great for that. Other times, I feel like making a new friend, and I want to play computers. There are lots of interesting modes! I had my 1st Olivia QSO last night, after getting interested in the mode from watching this channel, and the QSO was almost 2 hours long. It was a blast and I made a new friend. There are times and places for everything! I'm so glad we have a myriad of interesting modes to chose from to suit whatever operating mood we happen to be in.

@@paulmadsen51 Most of the time for various reasons I am either running qrp, a very compromised antenna, or both. Olivia is good for this too -- I've been surprised to see olivia decode when I don't even see a trace of anything on the waterfall.
