Contempt of Court

Ойын-сауық

The plaintiff is suing the defendant, her former friend, for filing a false police report against her for assault and defamation. The defendant is countersuing the plaintiff for harassment. Judge Mathis says the plaintiff tried to perpetrate a fraud, and dismissed her case after she presented a false police report. Do you support his decision?

The plaintiff was winning at first especially when Judge Mathis asked the defendant, did she say those things about the plaintiff at the job and the defendant said "Our job, no" she hesitated clearly indicating she was lying. The plaintiff then butchered her own case, giving that man a paper with majority of it blacked out.

What relevance does it have to ask "why were you late" None of your fucking business, ARBITER MATHIS. Not relevant to the case. Why not ask what color her underwear is? Just as relevant a question.

You are 100% right; and Mathis is wrong as two left shoes for letting his ego and embarrassment get in the way of true justice. He know good and darn well that some things are considered confidential and if the report she received was blacked out to protect confidential information like addresses and etc., "so what?", just focus in on the fact the paperwork said that there was an alleged assault. It was bad enough to throw out her case, but to then award that prevaricating defendant 5000, when he himself said that he didn't blame the plaintiff and would have left her there too, was nothing less than hypocritically miscarrying justice. You want to fine the plaintiff for contempt, fine her and let her pay the court costs, but don't award and enrich the guilty party, whose own testimony basically affirmed what the plaintiff said about her.

Yes, I support the judge's decision. Because anytime someone brings fake/fraud paperwork they should be ruled against. Now after seeing Jareka's Police Report, she didn't have to be the one whom did the blacking out. I have seen a Police Report come from my local courthouse blacked out like that, because they call themselves protecting the Defendant's personal information. Therefore, it WASN'T fraud. As a matter of fact, the police had information blacked out on a report from a Personal Injury case that I had against someone in 2008.
