What do you think of the new George Dave.. I'm quite sceptical about new president stuff now as I had a Grant 2 few years back which was cheap junk...

The NRC if set correctly is good. The radio has a bit of weight to it too giving the impression of quality. The receiver is good those guys on UK FM were eight and thirteen miles away and the SSB station he was twenty eight miles. I was thinking about comparing it with my Grant's and the McKinley and maybe even the original George.. With the new Washington on the horizon I would think that the George 2 price will fall. The control's are better on the George but is it worth £300. Crt7900 is cheaper and higher output too and performs the same. Although I intend to compare the George and crt too.

@@Team-fabulous I think that's all ithe Washington is with a higher output than George. No doubt there will be some folk that will want them.
