Contact Juggling!!

Ойын-сауық

Haha.. the old man at the end cracks me up!!
Dont forget to rate and comment if you like what i do...
This is just me fooling around in Rome - Italy. Dancing has always been a huge part of my contact juggling experience and it is what drives me the most. I love dancing so much and ive always looked for more ways to become free of the burden of the ball and moving around like its floating rather than being something heavy that i have to concentrate on
btw sorry for me being a bit off balance with my footwork at a couple of points in the vid.. my shoes had holes in them the size of toonies because i was doing too many street shows :D

great job man! I really like the way you combined dance and CJ without doing just claw and palm isos!

Such a beautiful video that deserves all the attention it gets and then some. There's something so much more going on here than just straight up contact juggling. ..With or without the ball this would still be phenomenal. You seem to really understand the movements of the body...and the choice of location as well is great. The blurriness did not bother me and you're right it does add to the dream effect. The moving cars In the background and the walking strangers add enough contrast as they are clearly moving at a different speed than the world you are in. Bravo bravo bravo. It has been awesome to find these select few videos of contact jugglers doing something either strictly for the joy of it or with their own uniqueness. I'm new to cj so seems easy to fall right into a formula rather than develop my own style...but this keeps me happy and inspired. Beautiful work.

Thrust me its like this in most countries, mine included. I dont really go clubbing anymore mainly because of what you stated. However if you want to take some classes i recommend taking classes of Tango (which i love) or Swing for example. The people there love dance for what it truly is and its a great way to meet new people who share this passion Oh, and im mainly self-taught but the tango actually account for a lot of what i do with my legs. Also check bucking or jooking. Hope it helped

I really liked this video. Did you add blur around the outsides in post? The picture looked good, but I thought your blurry feet kind of detracted from the video a bit. Your contact flowyness was really really smooth and on point. I think maybe some glitchiness or popping would add some contrast and break things up a bit. Although the flowy stuff went along with the mellow track really well. All in all really nice vid. Keep it up.

@TheMintCondish I added the blur, i thought it gave it a nice aestetic touch, kinda dreamy. I was in a rather smooth mood hence the song. So it wasnt really about glitch or hard pops, if you want more of that and glides i suggest you go see my other CJ vid, its more "party" oriented. Also im popping all the time, its just i have a different style, im not into hard pops anymore as most of the time it doesnt really fit my style. My style have strength, but in subtleties.

I'm a very amateur dancer (I generally go out to clubs to dance, but very few people in Melbourne clubs seem to understand the joy of dancing) and I was interested in taking some classes to help me develop my style. I absolutely love the way you use your legs to glide along the ground, and I was wondering how you learned to move like that. Self-taught, or...?
