I usually use something like scissors to have some leverage!

can anything happen when i wait longer than the 4min before i stick it together?

it can be a bit longer depending on the room temperature etc! If you wait too long, for example over 10 minutes, it will just have dried out and no longer stick

How can I clean the squeeze bottle when contact cement isn't liquid?

I recommend getting another one, cleaning it once the glue went bad Is REALLY hard to do
