could you explain, how do I consume anything if my income is 0?
@collinweigel788
7 жыл бұрын
Hi Adam, this could be accomplished through something like borrowing or using savings. Many students have no income but still eat. While the idea of spending money is not true in every case, it is usually a reasonable assumption for the average consumer. For example, Aladdin stole to eat, but while Jasmine had no income of her own, she spent considerably. Therefore the average person in Agrabah with no income spent money.

shocker waziri 20 divided by .1 is 200. If you times 20 by 10, you get 200. If you times .1 by 10 you get 1. 200/1 is 200

@@emailbenbenson why he did not write 100 in the yd
@emailbenbenson
2 жыл бұрын
@@shammaalali352 not sure which part of the video you are referring to. The equation? C = 20 + .9 x Yd? Why is that Yd not 100? Cause 100 is an example but when in one is 100, he is still consuming more than he is making. The equation is to find when income and consumption are equal. We know it's not equal at 100, so he's trying to figure out what Yd is. Since C needs to = Yd and we know 100 is too little, there would be no reason to use 100.

sir. how did you get the .1C?
@collinweigel788
6 жыл бұрын
Hi Dinmher. around the five minute mark we have an equation: C = 20 + .9C. We subtract .9C from both sides, which eliminates that .9C on the right hand side and leaves us with 1C-.9C = .1C on the left hand side.
