Do you need to test the soil for its ability to absorb water in the soak pit? What happens if the soak pit gets full? Waste water bubbles to the surface?

what should be the distance between house wall and soak pit ? if I have soak pit adjacent to building wall .. would it be ok ? I'm seeing many house owners build just next to the building wall

Can we construct soakpits outside our compound near the road. Our road is not given to panchayat yet, but it got panchayat approval and DTCP approval for our building and road. So is it legal to construct a soakpit near the road as there is no drainage system for us yet?

Is it followed by TN Government ? I don't think so
this would not be legal in north America or Europe.. ineffective biological treatment of the wastewater and this type of system is often the reason why people's drinking water wells are contaminated with coliforms.. you should not dispose of septic wastewater to a sump - check out percolation field designs - aerated treatment systems etc.
