    teacher just a doubt when you talk about yag laser it would be that ophthalmology equipment to do capslutomy, what happens when i'm going to fire the laser and he disarms. could you explain this step please.

    You will have some drops put into your eye to make the pupil big, and an anesthetic eye drop to numb the surface of the eye. The treatment is painless due to the anesthetic drops used to numb your eye before the laser and takes approximately 20 minutes. The doctor will put a special mirrored lens on your eye before applying the laser beam. This lens allows the doctor to view the membrane clearly so he or she can apply the laser and make a small hole in it to clear the vision.

    Sir why not population inversion took place between E2 to E1

  • @EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv

    @EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv

    3 жыл бұрын

    The ground state E1 is highly populated. So it is difficult to get more atoms in E2 than in E1. Even if it is achieved, it will not last for long.. So the laser systems in which E1 is involved are generally pulse mode lasers and not continuous wave lasers..

    @@EngineeringPhysicsbySanjiv great explanation teacher. the problem I have a Yag laser. because it’s disarming when I’m going to increase its power when I’m going to perform the firing test I’d have some idea of what it could be. Could it be some capacitor or the gas in the cavity? maybe I was wrong about the topic of capslutomy.
