Disco gave the world some of the greatest pieces of music I'll ever hear, and songs like this are proof.

This was happening when Disco was at it's peak , this was never on radio you had to be there to know this one !

There was a New York station, WKTU, that changed formats overnight, from Mellow music to Disco music. They were branded as Disco 92 and this was played in heavy rotation.

B. Smith , New York of course was always ahead of the curve , I never heard this on Boston radio during those years , for me the clubs gave me the latest and greatest music . Radio stuck to the hits primarily

This is special! Can anyone recommend me something as deep and groovy without losing itself to the cheesiness that a lot of disco from this period (especially later) suffered from? I know, I know, it's subjective, but I think you know what I mean. Love ya for reading this, thanks none the less!

Not sure what you mean by "deep," if you like this then you should like "Goody Goody - It Looks Like Love." I've heard it pumpin faster on the dancefloor. It's that driving bass. someone did an edit "It looks like Love (Maxi Extended Rework DJ Butcher Edit)." A close ballpark to this may be song "Cerrone - Give me Love" more R&B would be "brother johnson - stomp"

Unfortunately by this year Disco was using violins on synthesizer. Nothing like sound of a real violin. By 1979-80 most disco songs were using synths.

Disco gave us some amazing music, but also alot of bad music with awful vocals.i love disco but I think there was more bad music released than good.
