Awesome discussion and a fantastic show! Thanks for making this collaboration on KZread! I'm no expert but a science nerd, but... I think you guys are not on the same page for the observer effect and multiple universes, which are two separate and usually unrelated theories. Quantum Superposition says how quantum objects (like electrons or photons) do not have definite properties (such as position or momentum) until they are measured, that is, the act of measurement causes the quantum system to 'choose' a state from among the probabilities it was in before observation. In Schrödinger's Cat, for example, the act of measuring is impossible because of the box, so the cat is believed to be dead and alive at the same time, posing on a single cat. In short, is about the possibility of a single object existing in varied or completely distinct states. There is only one universe or reality, one set of objects. On the other hand, multiverse is about branching and the co-existing of multiple realities, that are parallel to each other. the realities don't overlap naturally, or can not exist or meet or be observed per se. This concept is more conceptual rather than scientific than Quantum Theory. The Cal experiment is like messing with the state of one particle, mandatorily making the object indecisive of the state they are supposed to choose from when the moment the particle is being measured/observed, thus, "spilling the particle".

In the memorial scene, there's a painting on the wall above Alice's mother's picture. This painting seems to match the one from the first episode where Alice is video chatting with Jo on her iPad from a space station. It appears that Alice's mother passed away in that timeline. In the first two episodes, something pivotal happens: Jo dies and is seemingly replaced by her doppelganger from another timeline. The exact moment this switch occurs is unclear. It seems like in the first episode, Jo is driving to the cabin with a quantum device, possibly attempting to return to her original timeline after realizing she's in an alternate universe.

I recommend the tv show Counterpart, similar themes.

The scene where bud was talking to "himself" on the computer. The bud on the screen is wearing glasses which is a discerner between him(s) and what dimension we are seeing

This show is a mind F***!

There are so many excellent series on Apple TV, such as “See” with Jason Mamoa and Batista, “Foundation” and others.

So is Alice in our world and wonderland as well?

I think there are just 2 realities either Jo is dead ( the one who did cheat)( who had the red car etc) or the one who did not cheat blue car . There are two Alice's one who speaks Swedish i think blue car imnotsure which is which but the part in the cabin thatJo think s that is the wrong daughter
