I stayed there last year! Definitely within my top 3 favourite hotels to stay in. The waiters were so polite and friendly! The food was divine! The villa was just... AMAZING - accompanied by the pool. Room service was fast. I mean.. Y'all really astonished me! I am lost for words. I 100% WILL return! Well done!

I stayed here in 2019 and have to say it was stunning. Yes, admittedly the rooms were not the pinnacle of luxury but they were still fantastic. The resort itself, pools, beach, gardens were absoultely amazing. Food was great too. A very odd review, in my opinion.

I have stayed at Constance Euphelia Resort 2 weeks in April 2016. The most memorable holiday ever! X

We went to this resort for our honeymoon in 2017 and it was just exquisite ! have been wanting come back here again ever since.

stayed in the family villas for 1 week it had to be the best hotel I have been to, the service is incredible, the villa was amazing and we even had our own personal assistant that would come to get us in a golf cart every morning to go to the breakfast. Honestly I would rate the hotel a 5/5

Agree that Constance Lemuria is much more luxurious and intimate...( and better food) Ephelia is in a beautiful setting but is a huge resort...my lock screen on my phone is of a hammock overlooking the beach at Ephelia!

It was very unclear why you didn’t like this one? This resort looked MUCH better than all the others you’ve reviewed in the Seychelles. Except the room, but it also wasn’t a villa so it’s not apples to apples? The pools looked by far the best, and the choice of beaches outstanding. Even the sun loungers looked much more luxurious than the ones at the Four Seasons (which seemed to have the absolutely worst, cheap looking public areas and pool but the best villa/room).

pressrepeat2000: Yes, I too was very, very surprised to hear LTE say this place looks “very cheap“! I don’t think I’ve ever heard him make that remark for any of the properties he has reviewed with one possible exception of that hotel - I’ve forgotten the name - on Zanzabar Island.

Charlie H Yes it’s weird. Maybe the video isn’t conveying it. I thought the public areas and beaches here looked absolutely stunning! Room was also much better than many of the Aman rooms he loves so much... but of course not as great as that Four Seasons villa. Although travelling that far to get a bad beach and mediocre pool just to get a nice villa seems not worth it?

Because when you see the kinds of luxurious hotels and resorts he has stayed at and videotaped before and since, this one probably looked 'cheap' and underwhelming by comparison. To him, anyways. He's a little spoiled, in other words. And who can blame him? Most of the places he has stayed at, us commonfolk can only dream of going to with our salaries and budgets.

The one beach North here is gorgeous for swimming. I stayed here. One beach is nice; not the other one.

This video must be taken way back before October 2017. The resort started its rebranding that time and most things I see here have been way changed since that time. E.g the Lobby, the Buggy driver is now the Villa Manager😉, New big Buggies, Logo changed, Pillows on the bed! TV Remote, staff uniforms, Furnitures....Everything has changed since back then, it's great to see a glimpse of this beautiful Resort. 💕

Don't you just hate it when you walk down to the beach and dozens of loungers are covered with towels, but the owners are nowhere to be seen. The resort seemed very busy and not as well laid out as the others in the Seychelles you have previously reviewed.

Please, no bathtub in the bedroom! There is no shortage of food at this resort. Buffet overkill! Nice beaches, plenty of lovely palm trees. I think I'll see if there are any vids of Constance Lemuria just to compare. This resort is fine, but not special in any way, IMO. I have the feeling you agree with me, Dr. LTE!

I agree. North Beach appears a little too touristy. I'd rather have the quiet of South Beach.

The constance ephelia isn't as luxurious as its sister properties , but anyways great work Mr luxury travel expert and thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with us 😀

We went to Ephelia in 2015 and enjoyed it, but the resort had a few little flaws, but it's better than Kempinski which is the other Mahe hotel we've stayed at. Our favourite Seychelles resorts are Constance Lemuria and Coco de Mer on Praslin, and Denis Island which is the best place we've been to in the world so far.

Is that the hotel where Emirates crew stays when they go to Seychelles? Looks familiar

Used to be for long time until some time last year, now they stay at Avani Resort.

My cat and I agree ... this doesn't get us dreaming.... And, what's with the bathroom being in the bedroom? I can't go for that...no-o-o no.

I think the only benefit of this resort compared to the others are some of the secluded beaches. we stayed seven days there due to epidemic and we just went to some beach (I think anse angle or even further), some champagne, et we just stayed there, it was rather pleasant. there is also a nice hike to do near presidential villa with a private beach, and further hike to a cool area called ros lepa trail

Didn't feel like you were holding the camera, you were looking in hurry or maybe the resort couldn't make your expectations, hope you will be back in your next clip. Thanks

This resort lacks the exclusivity at other resorts you've stayed at because it's just too big. I understand and appreciate your candid remark on the cheap looking decor. I hope they'll take that remark as constructive and refine the destination's aesthetics . It is beautiful nonetheless.

I think this resort is very expensive. For 450 euro per night you can have better conditions and food in other 5 starts hotels.

This property appears to be mass marketed on the order of incentive travel and/or families. Nothing really outstanding nor remarkable about it. 🧐

I have never seen bedroom and toilet joint together as one???

Great video, as always. However, the hotel itself didn't look as good as the previous ones, and the dinner looked mediocre. I liked that the length of the video is again ~25 mins and not ~40, as it makes it easier to watch the entire video. Thanks!

I have stayed at this resort. it maybe not four seasons. but very good resort and good beach. better than rest if resorts beaches in mahe *( except the four seasons beach which is way better).Its not 5 star deluxe resort but for sure good 5 star. the beach is not crowded all the day and it mostly crowded with local which i found nice. Epheila beach views and natural aspect is farr better than lemuria. Which is not have natural feeling with all golf feilds.it look more as a resort in florida. The beach in lemuria is poor..but Lemuria have acess to one of the best beaches in the world. Anse georgette.

Not bad hotel . It's very busy and suitable for families . The beach and nature were not so amazing . Constance Lemuria Hotel (in Praslin) is much higher rating . Good filming & more appropriate than before . Some parts were fast filming . Previous influential music, wasn't here . Good Luck 👍 🏝️...🛫

I have stayed both.Lemuria maybe better resort but it looks like a resort in florida. not so natural.with all the golf cources.

Generally I like your video, but I don't like your derogatory remarks on the hotel - if it's such a "common accommodation" in your eye, why do you show it in a 25 minute clip? I love Ephelia - it's wonderful there and the stuff is super friendly and helpful!

Nice video as always... Question: Why people travel with babies?? what's the point? Feels like you're not in vacation when you take your kids with you

I have watched dozens of your videos (Great research tool as a resort designer), and this one lacks the sophistication of most of the others. Within the first 40 seconds I could tell it was not a true "luxury" resort. But I would still like to go!!!

What is "Expensive Food" for a "cheap resort"? $450 a night is affordable for a nice place like this. I remember seeing $100 lunch/dinners in your other videos.

I have been away for a while and was disappointed with this place. Just not the luxury I was expecting 😕

I think the place looks kind of dirty and ugly. I am staying at the four seasons on the Seychelles next month. I think the Constance Ephilia is okay but not worth the money
