I love Jared’s wife I wish she would become a permanent member. If not, she needs her own podcast. Also, the pink sauce , yes, she did get in trouble for it, and Walmart did pick it up however, the brand that actually made it was a brand that makes all kinds of TikTok/instagram/influencer trend foods I think it was more of like a one and done thing and that’s why Walmart has her sauce on clearance and I don’t know if you’ve seen many pictures of the sauces at Walmart they’re also all different colors of pink ranging to the lightest shade of pink that looks like it may as well be white. I love you guys so much I am obsessed with every single one of you and all of your channels!!!❤❤❤❤❤ BTW, Chris is amazing and I don’t know why you put yourself down so much but you especially did it in front of your boyfriend. That’s not everyone’s job though. Chris is insecure. He makes that clear in every video, even While talking about his partners appearance and weight constantly. It is not Shane nor ryland nor jerids job to tell him he looks good or has a nice personality. Chris needs to learn to love himself, which is hard because of what he’s gone through, but it is no one else’s responsibility but his own.

I feel like everyone watching these podcasts has truly fallen in love with Chris and for good reason. He is kind, thoughtful, empathetic, open, genuine, and hilarious among many other things. He’s stolen all our hearts. We can all easily see that he’s a special human being and he deserves someone who doesn’t take him for granted and who looks at him and talks about him like he’s magic, because he is! I’m not trying to say anything here against his bf. We didn’t get a chance to know him much in this episode and I’m sure he was a bit nervous which is totally understandable. Just trying to talk up Chris a bit because he deserves it and I hope he knows his worth ❤️

Sandy and Jarid are so freaking cute! They need their own podcast and I think Sandy needs to be a regular to add a women's touch for the women regular viewers you have. Chris is such a kind-big-hearted-gentle-soul-of-a-man who deserves to be loved and to be able to love unconditionally.

The worst person I’ve ever dated said they don’t like fat girls and then the next day said it was a joke. Anyone who says anything about your body and them saying they don’t want you being fat is not a joke its an attack on someone. Those things hurt feelings no matter if you call it a joke. There were so many icks during this episode with them and it hurt my heart so badly. I’m trying to hold space for “Ghost Face” and give them the benefit of the doubt, but even if they were super nervous, most of the “jokes” they made were at Chris’s expense. I’m not cool with that. Unfortunately, people who already struggle with insecurity and self confidence often link themselves to individuals who keep them feeling that way. It’s all they know.

Sure, people could be wrong, maybe his boyfriend is great for him, but he has been in nothing but abusive relationships in his past and his new bf seems to treat him similarly. Chris made it awkward. He is incredibly insecure and obviously got offended, but when ryland and Shane said something similar to each other - they got over it. There’s nothing wrong with being a little insecure, especially after being cheated on… but Chris needs to work on that, and his boyfriend needs to make sure Chris feels valued - OFF CAMERA WHERE IT MATTERS. I worry that Chris's relationship comes from a slight trauma bond. But it seems like separately, the two of them are not very secure with themselves, and so it poses issues with them together. I hope they are both able to heal themselves and be happy with their self images so that they can come together better and be happy within the relationship as well. I think this episode makes his bf look not the best, but It seems to stem from insecurity and not being very sure of himself.

My feelings had nothing to do with that at all. I didn't like Chris bf when he said what he said about Chris shaving his face...then the fat comment just sent me reeling...there was more to it as well. I've been in many relationships where I've been manipulated and gaslit and this seems very similar to me.

So can I be honest here and say I feel like Chris definitely deserves someone who is already in a place where they can be open about their relationship. Yes ghost face deserves the time and space to come out in his own time I just mean maybe someone who is more established in their sexuality would’ve been better… I have been there and it makes you feel really sad.. just because ghost face was cheated on too doesn’t mean he’s the ideal person to be with. I feel like Chris sells himself so short….. he deserves support and someone who doesn’t make these weird mean digs at him. I really hope he realizes his panic attacks aren’t something to just suck up, and that if he gained weight (a lot or a few lbs) he is still lovable and worthy.

This is definitely my takeaway from this episode. I feel for Chris’ bf and I hope he’s able to fully and comfortably come out to that family member that he’s worried about someday. But he also needs to treat Chris better. And maybe its his own insecurities coming out and thats why he said what he said. I think they’re together as a temporary bandaid to the heartbreak they experienced in past relationships, but they both need to realize they probably aren’t right for each other.

Agreed. I’ve been in this situation and watching it was hard to watch. Honestly almost couldn’t watch the episode. If you and have been there then you know what we mean. It felt so uncomfortable the entire time. If you know what your bf does and he asks you to join and then you do that? Very uncomfortable to watch. Just say no then?

I'm pretty worried about Chris and his BFs relationship bc I'm a LOT like Chris in relationships and I ALWAYS ruined them with my overthinking and sensitivity and I had to heal from past relationship trauma before I was able to have a halfway normal/healthy relationship. I don't think the bf is able to "handle" chris' moods, whether it's the passion, anxiety, worries, etc. Also, i didn't like the thing about Chris isn't allowed to gain weight.

1:06:11 : rewatching this episode, and I just remembered this as I’m listening - so technically mycelium wants you to eat their mushrooms. The mushroom is just the “fruit” of the mycelium, and is pretty much the reproductive organ of it too. When you pick a mushroom, all of the spores are spread into the air and spread, kind of like how seeds or pollen are carried further distances by wind, spreading the species 🙂 Edit: trees and other plants even communicate through mycelium, and a mother plant will unalive herself if it has a disease or pest in order to save its offspring! Plants and mycelium are their own version of civilization if you think about it and it’s amazing!

Having his boyfriend come on the show seemed pointless to me. The relationship is new, not even married and this dude is wearing a whole costume and using a voice changer to change his identity..pointless. It was hard to watch

I love seeing the couples together. It makes me so sad that ghost face isn't comfortable to be open and out. In today's world, it's so important that everyone feels safe and comfortable being themselves and being true to who they are. It just sucks that he doesn't have that support from his family and some of his friends. I am so glad that he has Chris, Shane, Ryland, and Shane's brother whose name is completely escaping my mind to support him and give him that unconditional love that everyone deserves. Hopefully, with their support and love, he will find the strength to open up to the world and show everyone who he is and that your sexual orientation doesn't define you as a person it's just part of the person that you are! I love this podcast and all the people on it. Shane you've been one of my favorite people for years. I have truly enjoyed watching you grow into the man you've become. Love and happiness looks good on you!

He’s receiving an enormous amount of judgement after a fun video, that’s not supposed to be that serious. Every single comment is psychoanalyzing Chris and his partner’s relationship now-they didn’t ask for this. If anything now Chris is going to overthink everything even more. I know they both are reading comments, and probably felt really disappointed that no one believes in them. Or most people from the way it seems . Even though no one is saying anything directly harsh about Chris, it’s his relationship everyone all of sudden feeling the need to chime in. I feel bad for them and hope this doesn’t discourage them from participating as a couple in future episodes.

Chris constantly makes comments on his boyfriends weight, saying he’s attracted to men of this size only, I’m sure that Chris would not date him if he was thin. That’s been made very clear. However, his boyfriend saying the same thing as a joke - Is horrible and a red flag? Make it make sense. We are obviously all biased towards Chris, he seems like a nice guy. But his boyfriend has just come out, is online for the first time and around people he doesn’t know. Stop judging him because of one video!

I’m never one to leave comments but I truly wanted to say thank you for bringing this community of wonderful and beautiful souls together. This has been my favourite episode so far getting to see Sandy (who is beautiful and so funny) and ‘ghost face’ and also having Chris and Jared in my life I just feel so much better. I genuinely feel blessed having you all in my life and sharing stories and making me light up with laughter and feel seen when you talk about real life hardships etc. can’t say thank you all enough for this super creative, intelligent and weirdly at times very wholesome space haha. This was too funny. Lowkey felt like I was watching friends playing a game. Genuinely laughed out loud. It was great to have the SO's on the podcast and it should really be a regular occurrence.

Chris really does deserve UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Not love where there’s rules. People tend to project when they say things they don’t like about others when in reality, it’s about themselves. In Chris’s case, his boyfriend won’t like him if he’s chubby because he himself is chubby. I hope Chris finds someone who is kind, thoughtful and who literally loves him unconditionally. He already did so much for others that he needs the same treatment back.

Chris seems like a sweet dude but it also seems like he’s ignoring a lot of red flags because they trauma bonded over being cheated on.

That's not a bad thing. It's just something they have in common. It's also a way to support each other. So many couples have probably been cheated on like their significant other. It's a way to talk and support each other. Why is such a bad thing they are dating and just so happen to have both been cheated on

@@Parkjkookie1831 Bonding over being cheated on isn’t the issue. It’s him overlooking pretty important things because of the bond shared through being cheated on. Chris is very sensitive and spirals and his boyfriend tells him it’s annoying and to get over it instead of trying to help him they’ve only been dating a year that’s crazy and then for someone who is overweight to put on their partner that if they gain weight to the size their partner currently is they’d leave them that’s actually very gross and Chris has openly spoken about struggling with his weight/appearance so if you don’t think that’s gonna stay in Chris’ mind for the foreseeable future you’re crazy. It’s much deeper than just bonding over being cheated on.

@@td023 maybe Chris's bf gets annoyed everytime Chris says something negative about himself. Every episode I've seen Chris always puts himself down. Would that mean that Chris is a attention seeker someone to always tell him he's good. That gets annoying

Chris’ bf is the biggest 🚩. Chris is so sweet and loving. While his bf can’t even say ONE nice thing about Chris? also him not wanting Chris to be fat? Chris deserves better 😥😥
