Gaudete
Brian Kogler has been composing rounds and other choral music for over forty years. Brian’s rounds, written for equal female voices, continue to delight us as do his other compositions. This 3 part round is based on the burden (chorus) of the Anon Gaudete that follows. The text has been embellished and extended to serve this round.

This carol was published in Piae Cantiones a collection of Finnish/Swedish sacred songs published in 1582.
