Thank you so much
Good lecture
Good job sir. Much detailed
Why have you not considered 2 on calculating share consideration?
I just stumbled on your video... very comprehensive I must say. However, Please why did you do away with the 2 in the calculation of the share exchange? The answer should be $7000 by my calculation. Please explain if it was deliberate or an oversight on your part.
you are too good my brother...you made it simple

Great to here. I trust you are getting all that you require to prepare and pass your exam on this Channel.
My observation, in your calculation for getting purchase Consideration by exchange of shares, you said (5000/5*2*$3.5)=3500 can you give a reason while you omitted the 2 cause the initial value was meant to be $7000. i will appreciate if you can help me clear this.
Thank you sir for making me understand consolidation. Please I'm preparing for financial reporting and public sector accounting and needs your help sir.
i enjoy ur lectures very much so if u can do that of financial management

I love this class. The only thing I hate is the Eco in the sound, it takes me to the boring usual PH system class. If something can be done about the sound
Please do a complex group example with multiple intra group transactions.

@@NhyiraPremium Am very grateful sir
Wow I have been struggling to find a video that best explains this topic and kudos, you just got yourself a new subscriber. Am doing Financial Reporting and someone advised that these videos are for Advanced financial reporting. Can they be useful in my case cause I noticed you maintained the figure for retained earnings for both at acquisitions and reporting date. And please kindly clarify how you got to deal away with the 2. Much love all the way from zambia..... 🇿🇲

Hello sir, what would happen if a parent company acquires shares of more than 60% which makes them to own the company in terms of control but the remaining 40% which is the NCI happens to have a majority of the board of directors in the board. how is control going to be dealt with in that case cause both scenarios qualifies the requirements of exercising control. please visit back.
