CONRAIL, C&BL, AMTRAK, "TRAXSIDE DAY TRIP". Pittsburgh Mainline, May 7, 1991

Thanks for watching another Jack's "Track Side Day Trips"
On this trips outing, it was filmed with a Panasonic VHS Camera on May 7th, 1991. We are on the busy Conrail Pittsburgh Mainline between Cresson and Bolivar Pennsylvania. Traffic never disappoints as there is plenty action. We missed a good many trains traveling to different locations, and knocked off early for diner. We also caught a few moves by the C&BL switching the Steel Mill (which is gone now) in Johnstown, PA. Amtrak Broadway Limited, and the Pennsylvanian also appear.
Locations are at Cassandra, Cresson (under RT53 bridge), Lilly, South Fork, East Conemaugh, Johnstown, New Florence (Conpit jct), and Bolivar.
Please be sure to check out my many other classic clips from the 1970's up
to today. There is sure to be something for everyone.
Thank you, God Bless

Nice Video, what rail line is that in the foreground @15:40?

That is the Conemaugh line coming up to the mainline, which I'm standing on. The line in the foreground is the old line on trackless bridge, and new alignment (what the train is on) was to lessen the grade up to Conpit Junction were it joins the mainline.
