Conrad Black says he's 'exonerated' in first TV interview since Trump pardon
Former media mogul Conrad Black said Thursday in an interview with Global News that he was "exonerated" in his first TV interview since receiving a pardon from U.S. President Donald Trump.
Black spoke about the pardon, stating he did not believe his "positive relationship" with the president resulted in the pardon, saying Trump said the reason was "it was a bad wrap, an unjust verdict and I should never have been charged."

Doesn't the US Supreme Court state that to accept the pardon is to admit to the crime? Why would you need a pardon if you didn't commit the crime?
We can only weep as we see journalistic and interviewing standards sink lower and lower.

I applaud Pres Trump for the Pardon to Conrad Black. Conrad Black was caught in the trappings of Corporate culture and now needs to write a new chapter in his life . I wish Conrad Black success in all his endeavours . Great interview with Conrad Black.

I remember when he wined and dined old widows and stole their shares in their husbands’ corporation. I remember when he brought a very successful grocery retail chain to ruins and laid off 75% of the company with the barest of severance pay and then he tried to get his hands on their pension. I was part of the group that fought him and because of our fight a law was passed preventing any company from trying that again. Whatever the federal prosecutors put him through he deserved that and more! He bought his Lordship turning against his country of birth so that he could become an elitist. In other words he’s the perfect person to be in Trumps circle. Birds of a feather stick together!
Conrad Black is very much a brilliant man, wish he would run for Prime Minister!

Nothing here to hate only to admire.
I served Conrad Black and his 1st wife back in 1988 in Toronto at a restaurant in The Promenade mall. Surprisingly he was very nice and kind and they seemed like normal nice people.
