I was surprised to find Lord Black's conversation to be utterly knowledgeable and clear. Well Done!

Great interview. What a huge, but wonderful, surprise to hear that Black has the first installment of such a major opus out. Agreeing with Roberts, the state of serious history is dismal. Looking forward to experiencing Black's mastery of narration and analytical mind in a new work. Hope he's back to good health shortly

I appreciate Black for his lively sense of language. Other than that I'll remain perfectly silent.

Really great podcasts in this series- of no matter really but terribly bombastic, dated music starting them which sounds like something from a 50’s - 70’s documentary.

Descriptive of the Roman impact in Western culture, although sadly under-appreciated by the listeners, apparently. Perhaps his cold has something to do with the lower energy of the interview.
