@@kennedyhenderson9005 I have a feeling Conrad will be endgame for Belly. But, I do think they will change the reason Jere proposes to Belly. I have a theory that maybe Jere will notice Belly and Conrad's lingering feelings for each other and, in the heat of jealousy and to "win" Belly from Conrad, will propose to her. I'm thinking they'll take out the cheating storyline since it's largely hated by the fandom. And based on what I'm seeing from fans currently online, this seems like a more realistic story change while still remaining faithful to the overall events. He'll still propose but to try to "win" her from Conrad once and for all.

this is how i imagine conrad was in the books except when he got jealous or whatever before his grief with his mom really hit him. and even then i think this was how he was and then he would get so sad and angry about his mom. When he finally got over the grief he was able to be a good boyfriend to belly and i love his arc

With knowing how book 3 is, do you still recommend reading the series despite the fact the author ruins Jer and has no redemption arc from what I heard? Part of me wants to read it cause I love a good childhood friends romance but then I read book reviews that are harsh on book 3 from being boring and how Jer’s character was ruined 😭

@CLisaa Kay so heres my thoughts. I loves the series. yes i skimmed through book three but ill explain why they are all worth it. Conrad and belly have such a good story and great chemistry. The characters are so real and raw. u are annoyed at belly but you also understand her and she gets less annoying trust me. conrad becomes frustrating but you sympathize. but its such a real love story. The first book introduces us to all the characters and i love the tension. the second book gives us all the feels for all the characters. the author does a great job at making you fall for both boys in the second book. But boy the third book, its a little boring because it takes so long to get to what conrad and belly shippers were waiting for but its well worth it. u get conrad pov and it made my heart ache in the best ways. I knew that jere was gonna be a cheater but i still loved him in book two. its worth it.

This is how I see it too. When I read Book 1, I was not on any side. When I read Book 2, I wanted her with Jeremiah. In Book 3, I saw how Conrad has grown. He thought in his grief and rage after Susannah’s death, Jeremiah would be better for her. He could have gone about it better but he gave her up because he loved her. By the time he returns in Book 3 and Conrad is in a better place, Belly and Jere were already engaged. He knew he didn’t have a right to be angry. I became Team Conrad because he fully supported their engagement even though it was killing him to see his brother marry the girl he loves. He got Laurel to support them, cooked the engagement dinner, helped with the wedding planning and stayed silent about his feelings for her. Conrad never would have confessed his love for Belly if he had not found out Jere cheated, which I do think was out of character for Jeremiah. Nevertheless, Conrad’s growth and support of Belly & Jere during their engagement made me root for Conrad and Belly.

@@glockbabyap3883 so basically to sum it up in the 2nd book, susannah died quite early on and obv everyone grieved ab her then one night jeremiah came to belly's house to tell her that conrad "ran" away and asked her to find him the next morning. belly agreed and they went searching for him the next morning but belly didnt tell laurel cause she noticed that her mom has been grieving over susannah's death. belly doesnt want to cause her mom more trouble about conrad's unexpected disappearance and made up an excuse. belly and jere searched all day everywhere but couldnt find him. they also went to his college dorm and thats when belly found the infinity necklace and took it. at alas they went to the summer house thinking conrad would be there. they found conrad, also found out that conrad has been missing college and his exams were coming up. belly and jere tried convincing him to go back to school but conrad wasnt budging so they just spent a couple nights buying food and necessities. one morning a lady came to the summer house to talk about it going onto the market, conrad was the one who opened the door (i think), soon jere found out ab it. belly and jere soon finds out that he isnt running away from college but just trying to save the house from getting sold since it meant a lot to them plus susannah. conrad told the women ab cancelling selling the house, couple days later adam (conrad and jere's dad) chastised him ab cancelling selling the house. laurel started getting worried ab belly cause shes been gone for so long then she told her everything and laurel came to the summer house immediately. laurel then finds out ab adam wanting to sell the house, she obviously was upset ab it as well and thought to talk ab it over dinner with adam. long story short they had a disagreement but laurel had a way to convince adam like she always do. alas they agreed that adam will cancel selling the house if conrad passed his exams since he's been missing a lot of school. the exams was in like a few days i think and belly, jere and conrad spent the past 2 days helping connie to revise for his exams. the day before his exams they drove to conrad college and got into a massive traffic jam. waited hours but the traffic wouldnt budge so they just spent the night at the nearest motel. the motel scene which in the middle of the night conrad said something in the dark, jere was asleep but belly heard ab what he said cause she couldnt sleep either (i forgot the dialogue). next morning, they got ready, drove connie to his college, jere confessed his feelings for belly in the car and they kissed, coincidentally they kissed when conrad came back so he saw it. i think he got jealous and he saw belly was wearing the infinity necklace and asked her why she had it. she told him that she found it in his dorm and conrad asked her to give it back since he never gave it to her. she gave it back and they drove to somewhere idk i forgot. conrad passed his exams and they saved the summer house. the end. yayyy! also belly and taylor's relationship proceeded throughout the 2nd book as well as some flashbacks including the prom scene if im not wrong. i know i literally just spoiled it for u but u should rlly read the books to get the full story yk just in case i missed anything

I wonder what will happen in season two I hope they will be together I vote for belly and Conrad forever always they deserve to be together and too be happy

I’m hoping they don’t get Jeremiah and Belly together because we all know how that ends. I mean they made him bisexual why don’t they take advantage of that. Give him a boyfriends don’t make him a (SPOILER!!!) cheater.

It ends badly because Jenny Han ruined Jeremiah. It was not in his character to cheat on Belly but Jenny just wanted an excuse to get Belly and Conrad together.

@@larenaabdon4473 I guess when you build up a character for 2 books, and then make that character do something unlike what that character's done before, you would call it out of character. I would say what he did was out of character because it came out of nowhere. What Conrad did was also out of character but I guess in a good way.
