Good list. I personally dont like playing imperial pikemen, but purple and blue halberdiers are amazing. You can also play them very well in ranked. Had games where i got 80 unit kills with my purple halberds. You could have added imperial pike guards(purple big shields) and dagger axe lancers as strong non seasonal units.

Imperial pikes were already fun without mastery with mastery they are very very nice because their only problem was low kills per advance, mastery solves that if you are experienced enough to press their skill at the right moment everything left alive dies. Plus mauls and other heavy armor guys tend to feel they have to interrupt them, but new skill deletes them.

you deserve more subs man..

i prefer bottom on pikemen because the damage is negligible compared to the defenses.I like the slow walk better because it allows me to stop cav without moving too far out of position. also can walk on madao with hardly damage taken while stun locking them and the fast walk walks too fast to stun lock them. top line 1 or 2 walks maybe. bottom can be used for so much longer. top last node is useless as well as it only works when they are v attacking

even in gold era of season i play purples .. i always play with helicopters/ fortis and my personal favo for my play style ... javelin sgts (25-80 kills everygame...) sometimes i change my fortis for longbows or dagger axe lances

25 kills on jav Sargents is probably not good given you deprive your team of melee power... I tend to rather use the imp javs with their shield throw and longer melee survive.

Make dual blades guide build after all changes

both are solid, but you should grind for monks or similar op units

they are ok but they are a shock troop, so most of the time one and done sort of unit

@@Plumsion So they're not that great compared to the elite halbediers? I believe they got most of the same skills as well as some extra ones. Although I must say, I haven't looked into their stats so I don't really know the difference when it comes to armour and health and stuff.

At the beginning you say that these units are good for starters... yes, but the IPG is not that good for new players in my opinion. They can be good against bots without much micromanagement but against real players they are harder to use good. You have to have the Eye for opportunitys, you need to have played in a team, know whats dos and dont with them. You need to have at least some experience.

With full mastery they are worth it even if you suicide advance them in the right situation, yes you need some awareness, but by that logic new players should do what 80% of playerbase does, afk ranged on lemming train. If you push into an existing fight or against charging cav its almost always worth.

No one is gonna have access to imp pike without experience anyways, so it is a moot point

@@danielgarrett7226 i think what you call experienced is still noob for many players. Purple units aren't that much of a grind especially in bot matches you get as beginner. I would say i need to still learn and im upwards lvl 1000.

@@danielgarrett7226 back when i played i had consistently high scores on them. Still noobs can easily get these.

not to mention you don't get anything for killing them you basically lose money for being a good teammate on this game that is why nobody can move ahead if you were to focus high level units you only get like 20 kills and B Rank and you know you're killing the most scary s*** if you're going to have mega busted unit make them worth like 10 kills a piece

I actualy hate this game u cant play seasonal units i was playing with Dynasty units i maxed them and now i came back year later and i CANT use them so i have the most usseles units and back to grind srsly ...And the amount of bots in games oh god wasted 120 hours my time
