Matchlock ashigaru actually can snipe from afar, only lose to vassal longbowman imo They trade rate of fire for accuracy

I bought this units today and for some reason they didn't pop up to my unit barracks

I believe you have to recruit them from barracks... go to barracks tab and on the left side from range section u can find them and recruit them

a very sad unit, best stick with 5star Aquisier at least those unit got Triple shots that can 1hit KO everything.

Yeah, unfortunately they need to get a rework/buff But for a unit that u can get in under an hour, I'd say they are worth unlocking

They serve a different purpose, you can give them 60% accuracy and 36% rate of fire from veterancy alone, they have 1400 ammo, people just got used to new units being utterly overbuffed so when they release an optimal unit people think its shit. Also some players might lack those 10-15 extra leadership to bring purple or gold arquebusiers so u can always grab matclocks

@filipkaludjerovic2037 Yeah, like I said, for their low leadership cost, they are not bad, but compared to all the meta units, they obviously can't get results like those units
