Conquering Laos, Asia's Hidden Gem 🇱🇦
Laos is a country I did not know much about, but after spending my first day exploring what Luang Prabang has to offer it has quickly become one of my new favourite cities in the world!
It has almost everything that appeals to me and may appeal to you also, from the delicious food, kind locals, beautiful scenery and the relaxed nature that oozes through the city. Join me to find out why I now love Laos and this city so much.

Amazing place👍
Greetings your royal-highness King David from L.A.California. Finally the video I have been waiting for and you did not disappoint me Fantastic, well done my friend. That temple in the mountains blew me a-way. What a view and you pretty much had it to your-self. I would never make it up there now Too old now. I released a turtle into a river in Thailand, similar to what you did with the birds. Probably caught it down-stream. Supposed to be good karma. Not to many places left on this earth that mans foot-prints have not ruined. Looks so peace-full there. Good place to just chill. I would love to have that VW Beetle car you passed.. A real classic now. I had one in the 1960s. That dragon star-way was beautiful. I saw a-lot of temples in Thailand but this one with the view and every-thing looked breath-taking.Can not wait to see more my friend. Safe travels. Tom the Cali.cat.
Good vlog of the traditional houses. The other vlogs don’t have this.
Love those shoes. Thanks for sharing. The heritage house and the little cave all looked so nice.
Laos and Thai they share similar language and can actually speak and understand each other. Just like the Hindi and Urdu language.
Good afternoon David, my boy! I'm already on the 12:39 time frame and I still haven't seen your friend Ms. Wendy... anyway, seeing those birds inside rattan (?) cages reminds me of my childhood in the Philippines. They're selling birds in Manila in similar tiny cages but we don't set them free, hahaha! It's almost to the end and she showed up... those other tourists probably thought you're one of the workers wearing a costume and you're supposed to help them if they need help, just like those funny ones at Disneyland hahaha! Oh oh, I almost forgot... the best part is the shoes you're wearing... it's so stylish, so pointy, and so cute hahaha! another great video... take care...
The lady in the restaurant where you ate the soup clearly did not want to be on camera 😄

Dave, the "s" is silent in Laos. You should check out the night market in Luang Prabang before you leave. It's really good!

@stephenguy3901 Everyone in Laos and Thailand pronounces it "Lao". I got corrected several times in both countries when I put an s on it 😄

@@totallyraw1313 I call it Lao , yes those in Laos and Thailand do drop the "s" however as I said the English native speakers don't.
😅 5:03 That is a tomb where they put bones of the dead 💀
Khao Soi in Laos is more like Nam Ngeaw in Northern Thailand or Khao Soi in Shan state , Myanmar. They are all sub-race of Tai-Lao.
Mmlso Khai

Laos is an interesting country but you cannot legally have relationships with the women unless they are registered with the police.
