Thanks.
I started listening to Conor randomly at 13 yo living in Poland. I learned English by understanding his songs, because there is no language barrier here, this is heart to heart music!!! 10 years later, I was living in a shitty ass CT town and leaving a shitty ass relationship and randomly learned he was playing here. That day is still on my top 5 days of my life. I got to meet him after the concert, also randomly, but he definitely doesn't remember that, he was absolutely drunk. But he signed my CD, gave me a hug, and told a random probably made up story of his brother's bachelor party. Then his team dragged him away but he definitely wanted to stay and socialize with us. Conor is a pure hearted soul and the best artist alive, you can't change my mind. I WISH HE KNEW!!!!! CONOR WE LOVE YOU SO DAMN MUCH THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HEART WITH US AND INSPIRING US TO SHARE OURS TOO. Bless you
Upside Down Mountain is criminally underrated and every live performance of any song on the album proves it

Jesus, Conor... if you ever see this, thanks man. The first time I heard about Bright Eyes was a guy I think called Jesse that borrowed the guitar I was playing at Spicy Lao hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos and played Bowl of Oranges. Since then you have become a huge part of my life. I 'll always remember the time I listened to "We Are Nowhere And It's Now" (for like the hundredth time) alone on the roof top of my old building after some *ahem* inspirational substances and a couple of drinks man that hit right deep down on my soul and it continues to do so, man were the stars bright that night... Seriously though, thanks mate.

Thanks for sharing. I’m not alone. ❤
i wonder if he has any idea the amount of people he makes so happy just by living and creating...??
Oberst's songs help me make some sense of the ridiculousness in our modern world.
"Life can't compare with memories......that never have to change." Artifact #1 is such a gorgeous song!!!!!
I lost my mom 2 months ago. She was my best friend. I woke up today and watched the sun rise over the reservoir and now I have this on and it’s the first time I’ve felt content in a long time. Thanks for this, it’s lovely. Conors music helps me in ways I can’t describe properly.

Same here. Onward. Good luck.
A Lyrical genius on a musical adventure kind enough to take us along for the ride. Gratitude. Blessings to you Conor.
i accidentally saw bright eyes in college and have been listening to conor oberst ever since.
There are no better two hours on youtube. It just doesn't get better than this. Rebecca and Megan are perfect, too
i waited 13 years to catch conor live... and it was better than i could have ever imagined. and now i can relive that night forever. THANK YOU!

I feel exactly the same.. I could see them for the first time this year after so many years.. Unforgettable ❤️ I love every song!
Cassadaga, I'm Wide Awake, and Upside down mountain= the trifecta! After more than a decade, still hear his voice on a daily basis.
Conor is brilliant, and criminally under appreciated.
I was one of the lucky people standing in the very front row. I've found myself in this video quite a few times :)))))

I just watched that, skipped to it, genius.
Conor is the most lovable singer songwriter. He should be proud that all of his art is out there and he can write and sing as an outlet. i love this man.
That chick on the lap steel is dead on. Super talented!
This version of Lua is an absolute masterpiece. The trumpet intro is just so, so smooth.
This video and performance from the entire band was priceless, it’s the only way to describe it. I’m so appreciative that this exists, so fucking beyond good.
Great sound quality. Thanks for posting. Yeah...Connor. What more to say. His lyrics saved my life at a time when I thought I was the only person on the planet who thought and felt the way I do. I couldn't find any actual humans to talk too...but Conor was talking about it, and other people bought his albums...so - proof!!! I've traveled hundreds of miles, across the country for shows, and got lucky enough to see MVB in my back yard 2 yrs ago

This whole song, but that last line.. But I give myself three days to feel better Or else I swear I'll drive right off a fucking cliff 'cause if I can't learn to make myself feel better How can I expect anyone else to give a shit? And I scream for the sunlight or a car to take me anywhere Just get me past this dead and eternal snow 'cause I swear that I'm dying, slowly but it's happening And if the perfect spring is waiting somewhere Just take me there, just take me there, just take me there And say, and lie to me, and say, and lie to me, and say It's going to be alright "
I can watch this a 100 times, wow!
"I know you say you'll go all the way, but that's not quite far enough... Someone told me that same thing... Someone told me that same thing... Someone told me that exact same thing once!!" 💜
lots of my fav songs - and love Conor in a hat! If I would have to choose only one band in the world... this is it. I met Conor once at a concert and told him that his music is helping a lot of people.
Seriously I think this is the 15th time I have listened to this performance. Moves me every time. Thank you WGBH Music. Conor's music is a huge part of my life so it is wonderful to find high quality recordings like this. Top notch!
Why does this performance keep giving me goosebumps? Love it soooo much! Thanks to those who made an effort to make such a great video and share it with everyone!
Connor is a great songwriter with an amazing band. Rebecca and Megan Lovell makes this special. Wish there were more of the two playing with Connor.
This is the most amazing recorded live performance Conor has pulled off during this stage of his career. yeah this is not Bright Eyes, he is not trying to be bright eyes. His music has evolved into something very special, and he has brought together a band that not only compliments him, but honestly are essential to the songs. The depth of musical talent on this stage is simply astounding. Thank you for capturing this with such high quality, this performance is memory lane.

this was such an amazing show. I emailed his tour guide that he needed to come to boston because it had been almost three years since his last show in boston. I am so happy they made it happen. It always seems whatever conor is writing about is exactly what is going on in my life, and I'm sure most of his fans feel that way. He is able to relate to many people while still staying true to himself. thank you so much for uploading this! he is truly an amazing artist. right up there with bruce, neil, and dylan. come back to boston!!!!

Seven years later and this is still in my rotation--one of the great live performances of all time. Conor is so amazing, and knows how to put together the most amazing groups of people to play his music with him.
