I'm from Dublin, literally 25 minutes away from where he was born. I was a critic, a doubter, I bad mouthed him. He won me over with how he handled defeat against Diaz. It's easy to ridicule him over his mistakes, but I can't hate him, I've tried but I can't. These videos, got me through tough times, made me motivated. I've met the man twice and he had treated me with respect, he make mistakes like all of us but as a proud Dubliner I can't be prouder of what one of my own has achieved. Sure, that life comes with it's ugly days but he has single handedly put not only Ireland but my county on the map, he has made it clear that hard work, self belief and resilience can make you a successful man, no matter your profession.
