Yeah it's staged, even though the original footage didnt even show the confrontation, and Dana kept them seperate at the faceoff. If it was staged they'd have something interesting happen at the faceoff too, and theyd have filmed the whole thing.

You have to remember the weigh in is very soon, his body is trim and all he has to do before the weigh in is lose water from his body, losing 5-8 pounds of water is possible. But he isn't going to be 170 and lose 15 pounds of water, sorry. Conor would weigh 170 during the start of his training camp. But not at the end, he has practically barely any fat reserves on his body. Most fighters are like that.

I doubt it was staged. With so many of the fighters eventually becoming disgruntled, I don't think the UFC would stake their reputation on the hope that the fighters won't expose them later on. I think it's just the fighters trying to act tough, it's not staged but still "acting".
