Was she ever that relevant? I never thought of her as being in the same league as Barbara Walters or David Letterman. I remember when she anchored for the local CBS News in Los Angeles years ago and I didn't think much of her reporting. I always found her a bit underwhelming and 3rd-rate as a reporter.
