Connections 360 - NYT Word Game - 5 June 2024
The New York Times is back with another new daily word game, Connections! This is heavily inspired by "The Wall" from the BBC quiz show Only Connect. You must sort the sixteen given words into thematically appropriate groups of four--and you only have a few opportunities for error! I don't know if I'll be solving this every day but I'm giving it a shot for now at least. We'll see how it goes. Let me know how you like it!

Had a very similar solve, including falling into the Nice/Kind/Sweet/Tender trap. Also, I think there are chicken rings. Maybe at White Castle?
I solved it in exactly the same order, including the first mistake
Don't be so quick to dismiss the "chicken." Chicken rings are a big item at Whitecastle, and there are multiple examples of chicken sticks, if you Google that. There are even recipes. This is one of those rare days when there is more than one equally valid answer. 🐔

Fairly easy, no mistakes here =)
I also solved in the same order, though I didn't fall into the kind/tender/sweet/nice trap. Given my somewhat advanced age, I was proud of myself for getting nice/sweet/sick/cool right away.
You probably get chicken rings in McNuggets, along with chicken eyelids...

one of my favorite lunches at school was chicken o's - basically chicken nuggets in an O shape. i think that counts as chicken rings (and so yes i did also think that category was specifically chicken related 😂) stick is probably mozzarella stick. i also thought of chicken for that because of chicken fries.
the first 3 were easy enough, don't know the fried food, not on our menu here!
