I think we’re all well aware that it takes more than that. This young man is telling his story. He put in a lot of work and a viral video helped him to get his recognition. I know a young man who’s in the same position as he was in high school and this ad actually gave him extra drive to keep going and to not get deterred.

@@whitthevirgo2785 I think there is no easy way to fame and/or fortune and this ad generalizes and makes it look like it is simple. Not everyone is as smart and you and me.

These ads are so stupid. There's like a billion kids in the world with the same dysfunctional issues. What happens to the ones who weren't good at basketball? Yeah, this is inspirational, but this guy had a gift most people don't have. You wonder why schools in the US are so bad, this is a part of the problem.
