Connecticut River Fall Canoe Camping

We did a 33 mile overnight paddle down the Connecticut River from Hanover, NH, to Claremont, NH. We had surprisingly high water for an end of October trip and blue skies. Our boats are a tandem, Wenonah Minnesota II, and a solo Swift Canoes Osprey. This is the second time I've done this trip and it doesn't disappoint.

Great video! I do a similar length paddle from just south of wilder actually launch from the north side of the island you see at the 5:13 time stamp. We typically are doing quiet a bit of fishing and break that section out over two days stopping and camping on the island just after the Cornish Bridge. Any suggestions on parking near the clarmont launch? We typically get a 3rd party to pick the driver up but having a car nearby would certainly save us some time as our driver is usually coming from the Concord area. 🍻

Hi Gardner Outdoors. Thanks for watching and I'm happy you enjoyed it. We park right at the Claremont boat launch. I've done it twice with not issues. I don't see any restrictive signs saying no overnight parking. goo.gl/maps/fFpi27aVBZ2c4XcEA

Thanks, Mark. It’s all done on a GoPro 9 and edited with iMovie. Some secondary footage on this one was shot with a GoPro 6 (I think).
